"My bag of misdeeds" by Lady PJ

My bag of misdeeds
written by Philessa Hooks Jenkins
aka Lady PJ
2/10/2014

I thought about my footsteps and the road ahead of me,
it made me think of all to come and where my life should be.
I found myself just smiling then a peace came over me.
Right then the word forgiveness meant so much more to me.
I held myself real tight and thought of all the wrong.
My mind sought some kind of reason to explain it all you see,
and then I began to write; I thought it would set me free.

I grabbed a bag and wrote forgiveness on one side,
and my wrongs on the other.
Then I grabbed some paper and cut them into equal parts.
I wrote the first thing that came to mind when I thought of my wrongs
but on the other side I wrote the good things that came of these wrongs.

The results were an eye opener for me
because with every misdeed that came my way
God sent an angle to me.

Sometimes you don't see the good
because you're too busy looking at,
thinking about, or obsessing over the bad.

I encourage you to do your own bag of misdeeds and concentrate on the good things that came from the bad.  You'll be surprised.  I know I was.

This is your girl, Lady PJ, saying "much love to you all and remember that information is power so be informed."
