Title:
"Acting Without Compassion"
Yesterday, I ran over this big snake. He was waiting to cross the
road and all I saw was "A Snake." Ladies, you know what I mean!
He was about five feet long; maybe more. His underbelly was yellow
and his skin on top was different shades of brown. I was driving in my
car and before I knew it I hit the gas, full force and ran the thing over.
I was too freaked out to go back and kill him. It gave me the HeBeGeBees! I'm still cringing over that thing.
When
I got home I thought to myself; "Why did you hit that snake?"
He wasn't bothering you. The only thing he did wrong was be a
snake.
There are so many of us that judge people in the same way as I judged
that poor snake. I went after him for what he could do and what he was,
not for what he's done. It really made me think about acting without
compassion.
I'm
telling you this story because I want you to really think about, how many
snakes (people) are you hitting and leaving for dead without compassion?
If we judge not ourselves
and our own actions, how dare we judge others!
I'm
your girl, Lady PJ, and information is power so be informed. Much love to
you all and enjoy your day.
