Movie Review

Movie: Man of Steel
Directed by: Zack
Snyder
Characters: Henry Cavill (the eye candy and Superman), Amy
Adams (Lois Lane), Russell Crowe (Jor-EL), and the nemesis played by Michael
Shannon (General Zod).
This movie is rated PG-13, Action/Adventure movie, and is
two hours and twenty-three minutes long.
I went to the
Premiere Night of “Man of Steel” hosted by Walmart. Kisses to Walmart for making it happen. I have to say, “Man of Steel” deserves two-thumbs
up.” It was fabulous, from the
animation, to the fireworks (gunfire), to the eye candy (Clark Kent). I was thoroughly entertained.
I’m not going to
tell you what happened in the movie. I’m
sorry but you just have to go and watch it but it’s so worth the money. This is not the movie for people that are
looking for the gruesome type of action film, no this is an action film
designed with the family in mind. The
first part of the movie gives you a lot of backstory on Superman and where he
came from; it answers all those old age questions that we use to have as kids
and wow finally answers.
The movie
actually shows Krypton and Clay EL (Clark Kent’s real name) as a baby being put
in the capsule that carried him to earth, and then we see him as he becomes
Superman. I have to say that I was
missing a little Clark Kent and Lois Lane action but the way this movie ended
tells me that it’s going to be a sequel.
For you die hard
action fans; I think you will find this movie disappointing; sorry but it’s not
that type of movie. It doesn’t have
nearly enough fighting in it, and there’s a lot of back story so you might get
a little bored in between waiting for the action, but I really enjoyed the
animations.
This is your girl
Lady PJ saying, “go take them children to see this movie because they’ll have a
good time.” Yes, go take yourself some family time and don’t forget to have
some fun. Much love to you all.
