The Fighting Squirrel
The other day I observed a hunter shooting a squirrel. He thought the squirrel was down for the count, so he decided to look for more squirrels, thus leaving the one he shot at the bottom of the tree. That old hunter was confident he had secured his kill; a lot of us are like this you know. We go counting our eggs and all before they hatch. I guess to some scrambled eggs are just as good as fried chicken. Hum! As I was saying we get greedy thinking that we can always go back and secure our kill and not thinking that something could go wrong with it in the meantime.
A few minutes later I looked at the bottom of that tree for the squirrel and I noticed that it was gone. I was going to pick it up and put it in the truck. Yes dear that little squirrel was desperately climbing up that tree with all the life left inside of him. Inside I was cheering him on; quietly cheering him on. I tell you at that moment I was in awe until I realized that no matter how far he goes he's still going to die; only thing is it won't be on somebodies plate.
Don't you want to be like that squirrel fighting with all it's might to live and enjoy the time you have now? It's your girl, Lady PJ. Much love to you all and have a great day.
