Encouraging words of wisdom

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres...

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.

But the greatest of these is love.”

Young And Restless fires "Michael Muhney"

Young And Restless fires "Michael Muhney"

How do we move forward when ignorance is the truth we hold to?  It appears that some people are having a hard time dispelling the difference between a real live person and the character they play.  We watch our favorite characters and we become close friends with them even cheering them on when they finally get the upper hand or achieve a much desired goal; like when poor Dorthy was finally able to get her shoes back from the wicked witch of the west thus achieving her goal of going home to Kansas.  Don’t you just love how make believe turns out so well.  It’s complete bliss.  I think I might cry.  Wait, that’s not a tear.
What tremendous joy we get when our favorite character’s enemy finally gets what’s coming to him/her and our character wins or comes out victorious in the end!  We all love it when Victor Newman defeats Jack Abbott over and over again and again.  Victory!  I tell you I just love how “Madea” gets in and out of jail all the time, that “Madea” is something else.   She can get away with anything and I mean anything.
Though we love them with our whole heart, sadly, they’re but characters playing a part and that’s all they’ll ever be.  You see those people playing those characters we love so much are very much alive and they’re not at all like the characters they play; they’re just like us… flawed, and imperfect beings that constantly make mistakes.  I know… so disappointing.
Some people really need to have a writer to rewrite their life or write it!  If I could write my life out it would be so juicy; like sleeping beauty juicy without it lasting over a year or years (maybe like… two weeks of sleep).  Laugh out loud!  Of course my prince would be especially designed for me.
Michael Muhney is a real live person but his character is Adam Newman.  Michael Muhney, the person, has been fired from “The Young and The Restless” for inappropriate behavior.  Some people think it’s absurd.  How dare they fire him!  I say, “If Mr. Muhney has in fact done what he’s been accused of (groping the breast of Hunter King) we owe him no praise” and I love the character he played, Adam Newman.
Clearly through his actions he’s abused our trust and we cannot allow that to keep going!  I’m saying that firing him was the right thing to do given the circumstance.  I leave you with this and I really hope you think about it; “what if Hunter King was your child, your sister, your niece, or your grandchild,” would you think this “alleged” incident was alright?
How about this… let’s stop hailing these people (stars) as model citizens because they’re so called “stars” and start looking at them as flawed human beings; just like us (some times better but sometimes worse).  When you get a bad batch of something you don’t keep it, you throw it out with the trash.
It’s your girl, Lady PJ saying, “Much love to you all and don't go dumpster diving.” Laugh out loud.
