Darren Wilson resigns

It’s my belief that Officer Darren Wilson, of the Ferguson Police Department, should have turned in his resignation a long time ago but especially after his interview when he stated “that his conscience is clear after shooting an unarmed man (Michael Brown).” He stated that, “he’s in fear of his life.” How do you think Michael Brown felt?

I don’t understand how you can say that you had to shoot an unarmed man. The Officer could have rolled his window up and stayed in his car but instead he gave chase and now he has blood on his hands. You don’t chase a victim that you’re afraid of; it just doesn’t happen. The fact is you wait for back up. Instead he made a decision to chase down Michael Brown and now he’s dead.

Let me state that I do not condone the violence in Ferguson, Missouri but I can understand the People of Ferguson Missouri’s frustration. Please stop the violence and the destruction of property. It’s not doing anybody any good. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wake up and realize the devastation you’ve created around you and in your own communities. We need peace and a new plan to fight this injustice that keeps on happening between black people and the police. We can’t do that if you’re creating more and more violence.

Kanye and Kim West

Let me just say that, “Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West are the worst couple to be together,” in my opinion. Let me tell you why. He’s a very private person and she’s an attention whore; she loves attention. She has to keep the lime light on her because that’s how they (the Kardashian family) keep their empire in tack. It’s just business for her! Unfortunately, He wants a very classy high end trophy wife and she’s messing up that image.

I don’t see this couple staying together unless he bends because he has to understand that she’s the product for her family business. If she doesn’t do the outlandish things she does to keep the business going it doesn’t make the profits. In the same token she has to let her husband know ahead of time before she does a nude shoot because he might not want his wife’s goods displayed for the whole world to see. I’m just saying!

I think it’s time for the both of them to put North West first and remember that one day she might read her parents story and want to know more about their relationship. Let’s hope she doesn’t get hold of her mother’s nude picture. Ouch!

Is faithfulness a dead concept? What do you think…?

Is faithfulness a dead concept? We see people on the “Maury show,” “Jerry Springer Show,” and “Steve Wilkos Show;” it kind of makes you wonder-are there any faithful people left in the world? We live in a world where marriage is no longer off limits and a ring on your finger has very little meaning except a pretty piece of jewelry. You can tell someone that you’re married and their reply is, ‘what does that have to do with me?’ Betrayal of trust is an open concept that lovers don’t mind openly sharing to live audiences without hesitation. They don’t care that it leaves their lovers to live with the humiliation and shame of knowing that the whole world is now aware of that betrayal. Maybe that’s what the intent really is, to inflict harm; as much harm as possible before letting go of a lost or broken relationship.

I don’t think that you should need a ring to honor a promise of faithfulness. Once you say that we’re together and in “a relationship” faithfulness should be a standard thing. It comes with the title of “togetherness.” You know when you start saying those “we” words or our; our apartment, our kids, our car, or we’re going, we’re doing, etc… The problem is that most people don’t really know what a relationship is or the line has yet to be defined on the relationship.

I think that in the beginning of any relationship there should be an understanding; we’re just sex, or we’re exclusive, and we’re a couple. Unfortunately, most people forget to establish these simple guidelines that eventually lead to painstaking revelations later on. He says, “We were never in a relationship,” because to him it was just sex. She says that “We were in a relationship for a year and a half.” This sort of thing happens all the time but can simple be avoided by having a one minute discussion that starts with, “are we in a relationship or is this just sex?” Can you see how easy that was and it can so keep you from falling for Mr. or Mrs. Wrong.

This year is almost over and soon we all will be yelling from the rooftop, “Happy New Year,” and saying goodbye to the old 2014. I hope it’s been a happy and blessed year for you; as for me it’s been a very enlightening year. I always like to look back at the year and see the things I’ve learned, what I’ve accomplished, the friends I’ve made, the things I’ve changed, and the things I’ve lost (and was forced to say goodbye to).

I can truly say that I’ve kept my real friends close to my heart, I’ve built a few blogs, I’ve learned some html coding, I’ve read a few books, discovered some of my limitations, mourned for some of my losses, and rediscovered my faith in God is still alive and well in me. Even though I’ve been sick I still feel blessed because no matter my situation there’s always someone that has it worse and I pray for them.

For now I look forward to sharing the holidays with my family, laughing at a few corny jokes, dancing to the oldies, chilling out with my favorite artist (Billie Holiday) playing on the computer, working on my blogs, writing a few songs, and loving to my heart’s content. It’s not extravagant at all but very simple I know but “what a life?”

Again, I’m your girl Lady PJ and I’m asking you to find the simple things in life to enjoy; you may find that they mean a lot more to you than you think.

Chris Tucker is coming to Mobile, Alabama

American Actor and Comedian, Chris Tucker, will be performing live at the Civic Center in Mobile Alabama on November 8, 2014. His performance has gotten very good reviews, on-line, from the audience and I think it’s a must see for anyone that loves comedy. He’s acted in movies such as Friday and Rush Hour, plus he’s done stand-up comedy for Def Comedy Jam in the 1990’s. I completely loved him as Detective James Carter; the man has mad skills. It doesn't hurt that he’s cute and funny; nice combination! He’s a native of Atlanta Georgia -born August 31, 1971- and he has one child; a son.
