Creating your bucket list
Okay, I’m going to give you five things you can do to help you create a bucket list; things to do before you die that is. This is going to be something that I will do every week, so make sure you check back to see what I add next.
1. Go to the beach
2. Learn how to surf
3. Learn To fish or Go fishing
4. Create a home movie
5. Go swimming with the dolphins
I'm suggesting going to the beach because it's so refreshing and it really relieves a lot of stress. It's one of those places where you can go, unwind, and enjoy your day without worry. What you should think about while you're there is the scenery; from the smell of the air, to the sound of the water, to the birds flying by, and just take in all the calm of the moment. What I want you to remember is that you can recall this moment at any time that you feel stressed by recalling the smell, the sound, and the view.
Learn to surf but make sure you have a safety jacket or vest on. If you're afraid of the water maybe this isn't the best thing for you to just jump right into and never do this when you've been drinking. Always make sure you have the right gear, that you adhere to the safety rules, and make sure there's a lifeguard on deck.
Learn to fish by going fishing. Lovely! I like fishing it's very relaxing and can be excited when you get that really big catch. I love that feeling. Always make sure you have a fishing license if your state requires it, and if on a boat that your boat is registered. You also want to make sure that you and everyone else on the boat have a fishing vest, also note that children must have a fishing vest that fits to size; you can't just put them on any vest. Remember this because you could be fined for not adhering to these simple rules. There are also certain fish that you can't catch during certain times of the year but learning what the fishing seasons are can be a huge help with this problem.
Create a home movie; Pinnacle Systems has some really nice software that can help you with this. Putting your memories into film can be so rewarding as you get older, or just to remember those precious moments that you never want to forget; the birth of your child, their first day at school, the day you get married, your child's graduation, your graduation day, turning the key on your first home, and your kids going off to college. Wouldn't it be nice to relive those moments and know that you can enjoy them anytime you want?
Going swimming with the dolphins and guess what, you could film the whole thing and relive it over, and over, and over. I am so going to do this one day. It's on my bucket list for sure. As long as I'm not swimming with the sharks or the alligators. Just keepin it real!
This is your girl Lady PJ saying, “Enjoy every moment of your life because your tomorrow may never come, so live today.”
